Tajik Delegation Takes Part in Annual Session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly
DUSHANBE, 08.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The legislative delegation of Tajikistan is in Luxemburg for OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s 28th annual session that is being held under the theme “Advancing Sustainable Development to Promote Security: The Role of Parliaments.» The session which began on July 4 will culminate today with the adoption of the Luxembourg Declaration.
Nearly 300 parliamentarians from across North America, Europe and Central Asia are in Luxembourg for the five-day meeting.
Members of the Assembly of Representatives Olim Salimzoda, Jurakhona Majidzoda and Gulbahor Naziri who are representing Tajikistan, spoke about the issues related to the measures taken by the Tajik government in the fight against terrorism, extremism, and ensuring peace and security in Afghanistan.
