Earthquake Shakes Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 08.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – An earthquake shook part of Tajikistan today.
The earthquake was recorded at 05:46 am local time. Its epicenter was located 259 kilometers southeast of Dushanbe in the territory of the Afghan province of Tahor, reports the Geophysics Service of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
The earthquake’s tremor in the epicenter measured 5-8 magnitude and in Dushanbe 2-3 magnitude.
The duration of the earthquake was 20-25 seconds.
There were no casualties or property damage, the source said.
