The main goal of the conference was to improve public policy, strengthen ties with the Tajik diasporas, and to determine the main direction of cooperation development, ensure the integration of migrant workers and Tajik nationals residing abroad, and to stimulate their participation in the political life of the country.
Senior officials of relevant ministries and departments, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Khatlon and Sughd Provinces, Dushanbe, representatives from regional Tajik organizations and cultural centers in Russia and Kazakhstan attended the meeting.
