Over 3,3 Million Subscribers Reregistered Their SIM-Cards
DUSHANBE, 27.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – To date, the number of mobile communication subscribers, who have reregistered their Sim cards with the newest passport versions has reached 3.3 million people. The announcement was made today at a press conference by the Deputy Chief of the Communication Service Ilhom Atoev.
“The Communications Service in collaboration with the relevant state bodies is doing everything possible to reregister as many mobile subscribers as possible by February 15,” Atoev noted.
The requirement to reregister SIM-cards was carried out in order to ensure public safety.
The total number of registered SIM-cards is currently 6.9 million, of which 4.8 are in active use.
