DUSHANBE, 05.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Scientists from all over the world will gather in Kuwait to discuss problems relating to air pollution, which has become a matter of serious concern to the world community. Atmospheric pollution is observed especially in megacities, where industrial development and car exhaust are recognized as the main sources of the problem.
The 1st International Conference on the Use of Air Quality in Science and Technology will be held in Kuwait from February 10 through February 12, reports the Director of Umarov Physical-Technical Institute of the Tajik Academy of Sciences Farhod Shokir.
The chief of the laboratory of atmospheric physics at the Umarov Physical-Technical Institute Professor Sabur Abdullaev will represent Tajikistan. He will present his report on monitoring air quality in Dushanbe.
Experts say that the situation is alarming and gradually escalating. It is expected that in the near future due to population growth, the atmosphere will deteriorate if measures are not taken soon.
The purpose of this event is to bring together leading scientists and researchers to exchange experience and research results on all aspects of air quality and its use in science and technology.
