Cultural Center for Talented and Gifted Youth Opens in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 06.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs (CYSA) under the government of Tajikistan Abdullo Rahmonzoda and the UNICEF Representative in Tajikistan Luciano Calestini took part in the opening of the new Cultural Center in Dushanbe.
The center is equipped for recording sound, music, and audio-visual material, reports CYSA’s Press Center.
The project to create a center was implemented with help from UNICEF Country Office for Tajikistan. The center’s goal is to contribute to the promotion of talents and abilities of Tajik youth in the field of culture.
Tajikistan has been taking practical steps toward the revival of folk crafts, preservation of cultural values and instilling culture in the younger generation.
Following the ceremony, Rahmonzoda and Calestini expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation and noted that they will put further effort toward integrating state youth policy in the formation of talents and abilities of Tajik youth.
