Health Minister Olimzoda Meets with Indian Ambassador Singh
DUSHANBE, 17.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Nasim Olimzoda met with the Indian Ambassador to Tajikistan Viraj Singh on Friday.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the cooperation of the two states on health and medical fields, reports the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
While congratulating Singh on his appointment, Olimzoda expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation of the two states, which are well established in various areas.
“Currently more than 120 Indian pharmaceutical companies are registered in Tajikistan with more than 1000 types of medicines and medical products,” Singh said.
Singh also expressed his gratitude to the ministry’s leadership for providing such a favorable opportunity for the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of health.
Each year, with the support of the Indian Government Tajik health professionals are trained in English language, which contributes to improving their language skills.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further developing cooperation.
