Over 230 International Observers Will Observe Parliamentary Elections Tomorrow
DUSHANBE, 29.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Over 230 international observers will observe the process of elections to the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan, which will be held tomorrow.
These observers are represented by the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, the CIS Executive Committee, SCO, OSCE/ODIHR, and the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, including embassies of Russia, Iran, U.S., UK, Germany, China and Japan.
The Tajik Central Commission for Elections and Referenda has accredited representatives of these organizations and embassies as international observers, and giving them an international observer’s accreditation certificate.
Since February 10, international observers visited the constituencies and precincts of cities and districts, and got know about their work.
