Dushanbe Film Festival Postponed to Another Time
DUSHANBE, 03.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The first Dushanbe international film festival was to be held from April 14 through April 18 in the Tajik capital. The film festival organizing committee in agreement with the Tajik government postponed its holding to another time due to coronavirus outbreak in the world, reports the Tajikfilm State Institution.
The organizing committee postponed the festival time until the stabilization of situation and restoration of air communications and ground transportation between the countries.
More than 85 applications from 30 countries were submitted before receiving films for Dushanbe festival. The festival jury will announce the films submitted to the competition in advance before the start.
The festival time will be announced later.
