Tajik Ombudsman Attends an Online Meeting of the Eurasian Ombudsman Alliance
DUSHANBE, 30.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Tajikistan Umed Bobozoda attended the online meeting of the Eurasian Ombudsmen Alliance devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Russia, Serbia, Iran and other countries.
The meeting focused on the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the best practices of ombudsmen and national human rights institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Commissioner for Human Rights in Tajikistan became a full member of the Eurasian Ombudsman Alliance on December 18 last year.
