IRS: Dushanbe-Chanak Road Is Open
DUSHANBE, 04.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Rumors about the closure of the Dushanbe-Chanak road due to the coronavirus have no basis. The road is currently open, according to Innovative Road Solutions branch’s in Tajikistan.
“As reported earlier, in case of the temperatures exceeding 25 degrees, seasonal restrictions should have been introduced from May 1 through August 31. This restrictions applies to heavy vehicles. Due to the relatively low temperatures now, the management of the company’s branch has decided to postpone this action till May 13,” said IRS branch press secretary Daler Abdullo.
Citizens can get accurate information about the condition of the Dushanbe-Chanak road from the company’s website (irs.tj) and its Facebook page.
“Due to the measures taken to prevent the coronavirus, the company’s management and employees have strengthened disinfection works. In addition, the necessary number of thermometers has been purchased and made available to all plazas, asphalt production plants, weighing stations and representative offices,» added Abdullo.
