DUSHANBE, 07.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The issues relating to strengthening cooperation in social and cultural spheres, especially TV and radio broadcasting, were discussed today by the Chairman of the Committee for Television and Radio Nuriddin Said and the Palestinian Ambassador Luai Issa.
Said noted the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in this direction to present the history, civilization and culture of the two states.
It was noted that Tajik television and radio channels, along with other foreign languages, are also preparing programs in Arabic for broadcasting. In this context, the use of the experience of Palestine, where the official language is Arabic, will further improve the level of language proficiency of the committee’s specialists and will allow for the study of history and culture of this state.
The parties called the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Committee for Television and Radio of Tajikistan and the Agency for Television and Radio of the State of Palestine, which is under consideration by the parties, as an important means of strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Issa, in turn, expressed his country’s readiness to strengthen the multifaceted cooperation with Tajikistan.
