DUSHANBE, 03.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On September 3, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 10.3199 TJS,

1 Euro – 12.2415 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1388 TJS.

Also on September 3, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 10.3199 TJS to 10.3200 TJS

1 Euro – from 12.2415 to 12.5000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1388 TJS to 0.1420 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
