There Are No New COVID-19 Cases in Tajikistan, But Residents Are Urged to Comply with Prevention Measures

DUSHANBE, 18.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The situation with the pandemic in Tajikistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on February 17 was discussed by the heads of the ministries of health at an online briefing.
The briefing was organized per WHO Regional Director for Europe Hans Henry Kluge’s initiative.
“In recent days, there have been no new cases of infection of citizens with COVID-19 in Tajikistan. However, despite this, residents are urged to strictly observe the rules for the prevention of this disease,” said the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Samariddin Alizoda.
The briefing participants expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in the prevention and treatment of this disease.
