Tajik Delegation Attends CSTO Consultations in Moscow

DUSHANBE, 01.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Tajik delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseynzoda attended the consultations of the deputy foreign ministers of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Moscow.
The consultations focused on topical issues of the CSTO current agenda, the cooperation of the member states on the practical implementation of the decisions adopted by the bodies of the organization.
While considering modern challenges and threats to security, an exchange of views was held on further joint steps of the member states to counter them.
In his speech, Huseynzod noted the progress of the consistent implementation of the priorities of Tajikistan’s presidency in the CSTO.
He also voiced the main elements and touched upon certain issues of cooperation between member states, in particular, in the field of strengthening the fight against terrorism and extremism, cybercrime, and other security threats.
