Dushanbe Will Host the 4th Central Asian Climate Change Conference

DUSHANBE, 21.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The 4th Central Asia Climate Change Conference is expected to take place in Dushanbe in July. The preparation plan for the conference was discussed in Dushanbe at a meeting of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection Bahodur Sheralizoda with the Regional Coordinator of the Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for Aral Sea Basin (CAMP4ASB) Irina Bekmira.
The parties also discussed the implementation of the CAMP4ASB project in Tajikistan, and the status of the installation of seven automatic weather stations.
Sheralizoda expressed his vew on the work done within the framework of the CAMP4ASB project and drew the attention of project representatives to the implementation of planned activities within their mandate.
