Tajik and Azerbaijani Presidents Hold Phone Conversation

DUSHANBE, 05.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
At the beginning of the conversation, President of Azerbaijan sincerely congratulated President Rahmon on his birthday and wished him good health, prosperity ,and success in his state activities.
Ilham Aliyev particularly emphasized the wise policy of the leader of Tajikistan, aimed at the sustainable development of Tajikistan.
The counterparts discussed the current aspects of the Tajik-Azeri relations and noted that the process of positive developments and expansion will serve to benefit the fraternal people of the two countries.
An exchange of views also took place on topical issues on the regional agenda.
