Days of Tajik Culture Will Be Held at UNESCO Headquarters

DUSHANBE, 11.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Days of Tajik Culture will be held at the UNESCO headquarters on October 14, reports the head of the Department of Arts of the Ministry of Culture Mirzoolim Saidov.
On this day, an exhibition of folk crafts and a cultural program will include works by 80 art masters.
The cultural program will feature Tajik, French, and Italian songs and melodies, as well as Tajik national dances.
Tajikistan became a member of UNESCO on April 6, 1993, and in the same year the National Commission of Tajikistan for UNESCO was established under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On October 10, 2005, UNESCO’s 33rd General Conference was held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, which was attended by President Emomali Rahmon.
