Representatives of the Interior Ministry Attend Interpol General Assembly Meeting in Istanbul

DUSHANBE, 24.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan led by the head of the National Bureau of Interpol Shahriyor Nazriev are in Istanbul to take part in the 89th meeting of the General Assembly of Interpol.
The meeting agenda includes a wide range of issues related to countering the most dangerous types of transnational crime using the capabilities of Interpol.
The meeting will also focus on the issues of strengthening Interpol’s capabilities in the search for criminals, combating cyber crimes, strengthening the joint fight against terrorism and extremism, as well as preventing illegal drug trafficking, human trafficking, and other issues.
The meeting will focus on expanding national and regional efforts to combat organized crime and cybercrime, with the operational support of Interpol.
The meeting of the Interpol General Assembly will last until November 25.
