Issues of Coverage of Secularism in Classical Tajik Literature Discussed in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 21.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (NIAT) hosted a scientific conference on the the importance of secular ideas in the formation of national self-awareness.
The conference, which was attended by the leadership of the NIAT, the Ministry of Education and Science, scientists and experts, focused on the issues of coverage of secularism in classical Tajik literature.
President of the NIAT Farhod Rahimi, its corresponding member, Doctor of Political Sciences Saymumin Yatimov, Director of the Center for Written Heritage of the NIAT Rahmatkarim Davlatov, Teacher of the Tajik National University, literary critic Hafiz Rahmon and others spoke on this topic and expressed their views.
Participants also exchanged views on secular thought and national thinking, secularism as a basis for the stability of the state and the constitutional system, the role of education and scientific worldview in the development and stability of national statehood.
