FM Muhriddin Meets Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan in Islamabad

DUSHANBE, 22.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday on the sidelines of the 48th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Islamabad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
The meeting focused on a wide range of issues related to the development and further enhancement of bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
The parties also exchanged views on issues related to regional security.
Yesterday, Muhriddin also met with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

The ministers discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan in various fields.
They also exchanged views on issues of cooperation between the two countries in the framework of international and regional organisations, particularly OIC.
The two sides also discussed the process of implementation of agreements reached during the high-level visits in 2021.
