Tajikistan and Azerbaijan Will Celebrate 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations

DUSHANBE, 06.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On April 6, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sodik Imomi received Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Askerov.
The meeting focused on the state and prospects of bilateral relations.
They also exchanged views on upcoming events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
Diplomatic relations between the countries were established on May 29, 1992.
Since September 22, 2007, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Tajikistan has been functioning. The Embassy of Tajikistan in Azerbaijan began its activity on March 23, 2008.
