Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Intend to Create Joint Pharmaceutical Enterprises

DUSHANBE, 07.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The creation of joint pharmaceutical enterprises and the development of medical tourism were among the issues discussed at the meeting in Tashkent between the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda and the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Bekhzod Musaev.
The meeting also focused on the prospects for cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the field of healthcare.
The parties also exchanged views on retraining Tajik specialists in modern medical institutions of Uzbekistan in the areas of virology, microbiology, epidemiology, immunology, holding the Days of Medicine of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe, and developing and signing the roadmap between the Tajik and Uzbek ministries of health.
