Muhriddin and Voronkov Discuss Preparations for Dushanbe Conference on Combating Terrorism

DUSHANBE, 20.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Under-Secretary-General of the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism Vladimir Voronkov.
The meeting focused on important issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNOCT, in particular, regional security, the situation in Afghanistan, as well as the preparations for the International High-Level Conference on “International and Regional Border Security and Management Cooperation to Counter Terrorism and Prevent the Movement of Terrorists,” which will be held in Tajikistan from October 18 through October 19 as part of the Dushanbe Counter-Terrorism Process.
