DUSHANBE, 06.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On 5th October 2022, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Head of the Regional Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) Mr. Octavian Bivol.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on important aspects of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of the Sendai Framework, linkage between natural disasters and climate change and initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon regarding the announcement 2025 as the International Year of Glaciers Preservation.
