National Museum of Tajikistan and the Qatar Museums Strengthen Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 23.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The National Museum of Tajikistan and the Qatar Museums are strengthening cooperation.
In this regard, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of museum development was signed between the two departments in Doha within the framework of the state visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the State of Qatar.
The signing of this document will expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the National Museum of Tajikistan and the Qatar Museums in the field of museum affairs.
As part of the Memorandum, the parties can carry out retraining of specialists in the field of museum affairs, repair and restoration of unique historical exhibits (paper, metal, wood, plaster, picturesque monuments), publication of a register of national heritage, museum guides, equipping exhibition halls with audio guides in Arabic, Tajik, English, Russian languages and holding museum exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, conferences and joint congresses on the preservation and presentation of historical and cultural heritage.
