UNESCO Celebrates the 815th Anniversary of Mavlono Jaloliddin Balkhi

DUSHANBE, 05.06.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – A week-long program entitled “815 years with Mavlono”, dedicated to the life and work of the famous poet and scientist Mavlono Jaloliddin Balkhi, will take place from June 5 through June 8 June at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
The program is organized at the initiative of Tajikistan.
The program will begin on June 5 with the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which will feature Mavlono’s works. The exhibition will be open to the public throughout the week, allowing visitors to delve deeper into his legacy.
According to the source, an international scientific conference dedicated to studying the significance of Mavlono’s works will be held on June 7. The conference will feature presentations by renowned scholars from around the world, who will focus on various aspects of his contributions, including: “The World Studies of Mavlono Balkhi”, “Mavlono Balkhi and Mysticism”, “Mavlono Balkhi and Philosophical Literature”, “Human Rights According to Mavlono Balkhi”, and “Artistic secrets in the works of Mavlono”.
The evenings of June 7 and June 8 will be filled with music. The concert entitled “Eternal Melodies” will showcase the timeless beauty of music inspired by the works of Mavlono.
This program promises to comprehensively study the influence of Mavlono Jaloliddin Balkhi on world culture. It provides a valuable opportunity for scholars, artists and the general public to come together and appreciate his profound contributions to literature, philosophy and spirituality.
