On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned «Sitora Sanoat» LLC Household Items Enterprise in Bobojon Ghafurov district.
This enterprise was built by domestic entrepreneur Suhrob Ghafurov at a cost of nearly two million somoni to achieve the fourth strategic goal — rapid industrialization of the country, using the benefits and incentives provided by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. As reported, the production machinery and equipment are manufactured by leading global companies.
The enterprise employs 25 local residents and produces 7 types of household items, including heating and ventilation equipment. The factory’s production capacity is 15 thousand units of household items per year, and its products are import-substituting. It was reported that in 2024, these types of products were imported into Tajikistan from abroad in the amount of 7.5 million US dollars.
Now it is possible to establish the manufacturing of these and other types of household items within the country.
The enterprise has created the necessary conditions for the activities of employees.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the activities of domestic entrepreneurs for contributing to the implementation of the fourth strategic goal — rapid industrialization of the country and the production of import-substituting products, and gave useful recommendations regarding increasing production capacity, establishing its export in the future, and raising employee salaries.
It was reported that in Bobojon Ghafurov district, based on the continuous support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the private sector, using the existing extensive opportunities and capacities, is annually operating new production enterprises and workshops, where many citizens are provided with permanent jobs and good salaries.
Providing benefits and incentives to the private sector will make entrepreneurs enthusiastic about building production enterprises, and will also lead to strengthening the country’s production capacity and enriching the domestic market with industrial products.
