Emomali Rahmon Proposes Creation of Central Asia Investment Fund with Italian Export Credit Agency

DUSHANBE, 02.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – During the first Central Asia–Italy Summit held on May 30 in Astana, Kazakhstan, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon proposed the creation of a joint Central Asia Investment Fund in cooperation with the Italian Export Credit Agency and a trade office representing leading Italian companies in Tajikistan and other Central Asian countries.
The proposal takes into account the economic potential of the region and current market needs. President Emomali Rahmon also highlighted the development of regional transport links and infrastructure as one of the most promising areas for future cooperation.
