Tajik Citizens to Study at Vocational Institutions in Germany

DUSHANBE, 15.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 13, Farhod Rahimi, Chairman of the Committee for Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, familiarized with the education system and activities of vocational institutions in the cities of Rothenburg and Hammelburg of Germany.
During meetings with the leadership of these institutions, discussions focused on training Tajik citizens, organizing student exchanges, and implementing the dual education system.
The training in these institutions lasts three years, culminating in a professional education diploma. Under the dual system, students spend the first half of the day at the institution and the second half working at relevant enterprises. They receive scholarships from the educational institutions and salaries from the enterprises where they train. Upon graduation, Tajik students holding diplomas will be able to work in Germany in their specialized fields.
The Chairman’s familiarization visit to vocational institutions in Germany will continue until July 20.
The trip also includes plans to sign new cooperation agreements with several educational institutions.
