Cultural Figures from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Awarded “Dusti” and “Dustlik” Orders for Strengthening Bilateral Ties

DUSHANBE, 27.03.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – For their contributions to strengthening comprehensive cooperation, good-neighborly relations, and cultural ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the cultural spheres of both countries have been awarded the “Dusti” and “Dustlik” state orders, the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan announced.

Gulandom Subkhonova, head of the Tajik National Cultural Center in Uzbekistan, was awarded the “Dusti” order for her contribution to the development and strengthening of cultural relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Shukhratjon Nabiyev, director of the “Nuri Niyogon” Shashmaqam ensemble in the Sughd region of Tajikistan, was awarded the “Dustlik” order of the Republic of Uzbekistan for his contribution to expanding bilateral cooperation, traditional friendship, and cultural and humanitarian ties.

The awards recognize long-standing creative activity, the promotion of cultural values, active engagement in presenting the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Tajik and Uzbek peoples on the international stage, and efforts to further strengthen shared traditions and values.
