Tajikistan Showcases Culture and Cuisine at International Festival in Baku

On June 5, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan took part in the 14th International Cultural Festival in Baku, organized on the initiative of ADA University.
According to the Embassy of Tajikistan in Azerbaijan, the festival was aimed at familiarizing participants with the history, culture, art and national cuisine of foreign countries.
As part of the event, Tajikistan presented a national exhibition corner showcasing traditional folk art, including suzani embroidery, ceramic and wooden souvenirs, precious stones from Tajikistan, and printed materials highlighting the country’s tourism potential. A separate section featured a traditional Tajik dastarkhan with national dishes.
The festival concluded with a концерт featuring national songs and dances from participating countries, including a Tajik folk dance performance.
Representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, university faculty and students, and media representatives attended the event.
