Tajik PM conveys condolences over death of Qatar’s former Emir

DUSHANBE, 15.07.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda expressed the condolences of the government and people of Tajikistan to the State and people of Qatar following the death of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Rasulzoda conveyed the message of sympathy during a visit to the Qatari Embassy in Dushanbe on July 14, according to Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry.
Sheikh Hamad, who ruled Qatar from 1995 to 2013 and later held the title of Father Emir, died on July 12 at the age of 74.
