On September 22, in the Navbahor neighborhood of Khujand, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, officially inaugurated the newly built and modern Khurshedi Istiqlol private kindergarten. The new preschool facility was constructed on an area of 1,300 square meters and is designed to accommodate 600 children.

The kindergarten was built by local entrepreneur Rahim Rajabzoda in support of the constructive and development-oriented initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, in honor of the major national celebration—the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. It has been equipped with the necessary facilities for the education and upbringing of children.

The three-story kindergarten has 36 classrooms and a number of auxiliary rooms. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities for children’s education and upbringing and furnished in accordance with current requirements.

Education at the kindergarten is provided in Tajik, Russian, and English, with experienced teachers employed to educate and care for the children. In total, more than 90 people have been provided with permanent employment at the institution. The preschool building is equipped with modern educational and technical equipment, as well as the necessary safety systems, while its interior corridors are decorated with images of fairy-tale characters.

During his visit, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, familiarized himself with the conditions created for the education and upbringing of children, held a warm conversation with the pupils, and presented them with gifts.

To encourage children and young people to appreciate beauty, value culture, and lead a healthy lifestyle, the kindergarten has music and sports halls. The institution also has a medical facility, a speech therapist’s room, and a spacious cafeteria.

During his conversation with the officials and teachers, President Emomali Rahmon described the attractive and modern kindergarten building as a valuable gift marking the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. He called on the staff to make effective use of the facilities provided and devote all their skills and abilities to raising children in the spirit of patriotism and national self-awareness.

On the kindergarten grounds, 18 modern gazebos have been built for conducting classes in accordance with current requirements. A sports playground for children and a small nature corner have also been established.

After fully familiarizing himself with the educational and developmental facilities available at the kindergarten, President Emomali Rahmon expressed his satisfaction to the institution’s founders for supporting the constructive and development-oriented initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. He described the implementation of such noble initiatives as an important factor in achieving the objectives of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030.
