At least 25 “Al-Shabaab” militants killed in central Somalia
Dushanbe, 22.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. At least 25 «Al-Shabaab» militants were killed in heavy fighting between the terrorist group and Somalia National Army (SNA) backed by Africa Union peacekeeping forces known as AMISOM on Wednesday night in the outskirt Elbuur town of central Somalia, Xinhua reports on Thursday quoting local official.
“The joint forces killed 25 members of the militant group during the battle. We also fully control the areas where the fighting occurred and the troops are advancing to new locations in the region in order to liberate more areas from remnants in the region atmoment”, — District Commissioner of Elbur, Abdi Hassan said.
