Tajik Labor Minister Meets With South Korean Charge d’Affaires
DUSHANBE, 24.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population of Tajikistan Gulru Jabborzoda met with the Charge d’Affaires of the South Korean Embassy in Tajikistan Lee Woo Chul on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on the prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation, including labor power, as well as on signing the draft agreement between the governments of Tajikistan and the Korea on labor migration to Korea, which is currently under consideration.
Jabborzoda proposed to intensify consideration and implementation of the program between the Tajik Labor Ministry and the relevant provinces of the South Korea for seasonal employment of Tajik citizens to Korea.
The meeting also focused on strengthening the activities of 62 institutions of primary vocational education in the ministry’s system.
Chul stressed that earlier requests of the ministry’s leadership to equip primary vocational education institutions with modern technical equipment were supported by the government of South Korea and 200 computers have been provided as assistance for this purpose.
Jabborzoda expressed gratitude for the technical assistance and her view regarding strengthening cooperation with South Korea in the field of migration, training, exchange of experience and other areas of mutual interest.
