Tajik Students Bring Home Multiple Medals
DUSHANBE, 17.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik school children won two silver and ten bronze medals at the 16th International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science in Almaty, Kazakhstan, reported the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
Over 500 students from 20 countries competed in the competition which began on January 8 and lasted through January 14.
Twenty-one school children represented Tajikistan, in particular from the Lyceum for Gifted Students in Dushanbe, Tajik-Russian Lyceum Hotam and PV and other students of the secondary educational institutions.
In 2019 Tajik school children won 65 gold, 66 silver and 118 bronze medals at international Olympiads.
