National Assembly Approves Four Full-Fledged Laws

DUSHANBE, 05.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The third session of the National Assembly was held today in Dushanbe.
The session was chaired by the Chairman of the National Assembly Rustam Emomali.
During the session reports were presented by Dilshod Rahmon, Mahmadshoh Gulzoda, and Sharifjon Jumazoda on ensuring constitutional foundations, human, civil rights and freedoms, social issues, health protection, science, education, culture, youth and women’s politics, economy and communications.
Assembly members comprehensively discussed and approved four full-fledged laws, including On Combating Corruption, On Tourism, On Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Vehicle Owners and On Valuation Activity.
The session also focused on the issues relating to the amendments and additions to a number of codes and laws, in particular, the Code on Administrative Offenses, the Procedural Code on Administrative Offenses, the Criminal Code, the Law on the National Bank of Tajikistan, On banking Activities, and On Payment Services and Payment Systems which were developed with the aim of improving and bringing them in line with the current regulatory documents.
The above laws were approved following the discussions.
