DUSHANBE, 18.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On September 18, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 10.3262 TJS,

1 Euro – 12.1808 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1372 TJS.

Also on September 18, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 10.3262 TJS to 10.3300 TJS

1 Euro – from 12.1808 to 12.5000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1372 TJS to 0.1400 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
