Minister of Culture Attends Meeting of the CIS Cultural Cooperation Council

DUSHANBE, 20.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Minister of Culture Zulfiya Davlatzoda attended the XXXV meeting of the CIS Cultural Cooperation Council.
In her speech, Davlatzoda touched upon the intensification of the cultural exchange of countries, the progress of the Program of the main events of cooperation of the CIS member states in the field of culture for 2016-2020, including regarding the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and, about the preparation of Dushanbe to the adoption of the status The CIS Cultural Capital in 2021.
The discussions also focused on the possibility of holding the International Exhibition ART EXPO of the CIS member states in 2020-2022 and other pressing issues in the field of cultural interaction.
It was also noted that Tajikistan fully supports humanitarian integration, actively promotes and actually implements significant initiatives and projects in the field of culture aimed at saturating cultural interaction in the Commonwealth space.
