The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

During the telephone conversation, President Rahmon warmly greeting Nursultan Nazarbayev and wished to all the fraternal Kazakhstan peace, stability and further prosperity.

President Rahmon noted the successful development of Tajik-Kazakh relations of close friendship and comprehensive cooperation, despite the negative consequences of the pandemic.

He also wished the people of Kazakhstan a successful election, which is scheduled to take place in January.

The parties expressed their confidence that by joint efforts the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan will continue to expand for the benefit of the two countries.
