Tajik Researcher Tabarov Wins the All-Russian Competition Umnik 2020

DUSHANBE, 16.12.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik researcher, candidate of technical sciences and doctoral student at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur State University Behruz Tabarov has won the All-Russian Competition Umnik 2020 and received a cash-prize of 500,000 Russian rubles.
Tabarov’s project is on the development of a thyristor reactor module for transformer substations and was recognized as one of the best and the winner of the competition among tens of thousands of scientific and innovative projects from all over Russia. He also had the opportunity to implement his research project after receiving the award, along with 252 winners of the competition.
The state program-competition Umnik is held annually with the involvement of Russian scientists. The purpose of this initiative is to promote the development of innovative small businesses of scientists and inventors, especially young creators. To date, 70,000 people have participated in it, and more than 12,000 of them have received awards.
