Management and Employees of Dushanbe’s Medical Institutions Getting Vaccinated Against COVID-19

DUSHANBE, 26.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the management and employees of a number of medical institutions in Dushanbe were vaccinated against the COVID-19 as part of the immunization plan.
On March 23, the Istiklol medical complex hosted an official ceremony to start vaccination against the COVID-19 among vulnerable groups of the population with the participation of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, his deputies Ghafur Muhsinzoda, Shodikhon Jamshed, Samariddin Alizoda, the heads of the World Health Organization Country Office and UNICEF, heads of departments of the ministry, a number of medical institutions in Dushanbe and a circle of journalists.
According to the plan, the most vulnerable groups of the population, including medical workers, employees of strategic sectors of the economy, citizens over 60 years old, people with chronic non-communicable diseases, as well as education and science workers, will be the first to get vaccinated. Vaccination is not mandatory.
