Chairman of Vakhsh Informs President About Natural Disaster Consequences

DUSHANBE, 13.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of Vakhsh district of Khatlon Province Kurbonali Yusupov.
Yusupov informed Rahmon on the situation following the natural disaster.
President Rahmon instructed the Yusupov to provide timely assistance to the affected people and to restore the destroyed residential houses and other socio-economic structures as soon as possible.
A working group headed by the Deputy Prime Minister Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda and heads of other relevant structures has been mobilized to determine the damage to the economy of the region and eliminate the consequences of the recent natural disasters.
