Dushanbe Will Host Joint Meetings of Council of Foreign Ministers, Committee of Secretaries of the Security Council of CSTO

DUSHANBE, 13.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Under the chairmanship of Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers, and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will take place on September 15, in Dushanbe. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the joint meetings, the heads of delegations will exchange views on the military-political situation in the CSTO region, discuss the implementation of the Action Plan approved by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon earlier this year on February 18, for the implementation of the decisions of the session of the Collective Security Council, and the implementation of the priority areas proposed by Tajikistan.
The sides will hear information from the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas about the preparation of the draft of the CSTO Targeted Interstate Program to strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan on the priority areas of Armenia’s presidency of the organization.
Over 20 decisions will be made during the joint meeting.
