Tajikistan and Palestine Discuss Inter-parliamentary Relations

DUSHANBE, 03.12.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the head of the Friendship Group with the Legislative Council of Palestine, Deputy of the Assembly of Representatives Zoir Rahmonzoda met with the Ambassador of Palestine to Tajikistan Loai Issa.
The meeting focused on the state and prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Palestine.
Rahmonzoda emphasized that Tajikistan special attention to the development of relations with Palestine, including in strengthening and expanding inter-parliamentary ties.
The officials lauded the work of the parliamentary Friendship Group between the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan and the Legislative Council of Palestine. Rahmonzoda noted that in October 2020 the Assembly of Representatives created a Friendship Group with the Legislative Council of Palestine in order to develop bilateral relations.
“We always strive to establish good relations with Palestine and try to further strengthen these ties,” he said.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Friendship Group with the Legislative Council of Palestine Gayrat Azizzoda, Giyosiddin Ashurzoda, and Deputy Head of the Department for Foreign, Inter-parliamentary Relations, Protocol and Organization of Work Talabshoh Sharifzoda.
