Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan Provides Aid for Mother’s Day

DUSHANBE, 07.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – In order to support those in need, the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan on March 5 provided aid in the form of food to five institutions.
The aid was implemented within the framework of humanitarian cooperation with the support of the Turkish Red Crescent Society and provided to those in need at the request of the relevant institutions.
Aid includes essential products such as flour, vegetable oil, sugar, rice, lentils, peas, buckwheat, salt, dry tea, beans, beef, pasta, which was provided to a boarding school of Anzob rural community of the Ayni district, Interdistrict TB Hospital in Vose district, lyceum-boarding school in Tursunzoda, the Republican Clinical Hospital of Mental Diseases in Rudaki district, and the City Patronage Hospital of Nurses in Dushanbe. In general, 120 people are being treated at this medical facility, including 100 adults and 20 children.
The Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan intends to provide charitable aid to those in need in cities and districts of the country on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.
The support of those in vulnerable groups is one of the main tasks of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan.
