DUSHANBE, 15.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Following the completion of his working visit to Panjakent, President Emomali Rahmon visited Buston, where he took part in the opening ceremony of the third phase of the Sugdpak Co enterprise specializing in weaving and sewing of polypropylene bags.

The state-of-the-art enterprise was built with 13 million somoni of domestic capital and has a capacity of more than 400,000 large bags per year. The company employs more than 150 people.

President Rahmon praised the initiative of entrepreneurs in the establishment of industrial enterprises, which contributes to the implementation of the fourth national goal.

He also visited Bobojon Ghafurov, where he opened an asphalt plant launched by Somoni Mechanized Works Enterprise Ltd.

Within the announcement of 2022-2026 as the Period of Industrial Development, local entrepreneur Jamshed Naimov has invested over 3 million somoni for the construction of the plant and installation of the equipment.

The plant is capable of producing 120 tons of high-quality asphalt per hour. A sand and gravel processing line is expected to be introduced into operation at this asphalt plant in the near future.

While in Ghoziyon jamoat of Bobojon Ghafurov, President Rahmon also launched a water supply line for the irrigation of 13 ha of orchards specializing in almond and apricot seedlings.

In Jabbor Rasulov district, he also launched the Organic-Yan 2 enterprise for the processing of cotton fiber and production of thread owned by Davron Akhmedov totaling 37 million somoni.

The opening ceremonies of the Khoroi Sughd natural stone and marble processing factory owned by local entrepreneur Khurshed Abdulhamidov, which has a production capacity of 2,000 square meters stone per month, and the plant for manufacturing brick owned by Numon Rozikov with the production capacity of 5 million pieces of baked bricks in Jabbor Rasulov followed the list.

President Rahmon also attended the opening of the Amina K poultry farm specializing in egg production owned by local businessman Karim Karimov in Bobojon Ghafurov.

The poultry farm has the capacity to house 500,000 chickens. Over the next three years, the company plans to increase egg production to 1 million eggs per day and start poultry production.

While visiting Khujand, President Rahmon attended the opening ceremony of the Tajik Institute of Exact Sciences and Technology.

The institute was established on the basis of the announcement of 2020-2040 as the Years of Study and Development of Natural, Exact and Mathematical Sciences.

Following the inauguration of Khujand — Mogilevliftmash passenger elevator plant launched by Muzaffar Jumaev totaling 5 million somoni with the production capacity of 36 modern elevators, President Rahmon inspected the renovated building of the State Musical and Comedy Theater named after Kamoli Khujandi.

President Rahmon also attended the opening ceremonies of the new building of the Secondary Educational Institution No. 15, which is built to accommodates 840 students. The opening of a pasta manufacturing enterprise launched by Ordi Fatir LLC totaling over 2 million somoni was also attended by President Rahmon.

The production capacity of the enterprise is 240 tons per day and 75,000 tons of wheat per year.
