Representatives of Tajikistan and the Netherlands Discuss Findings of the Dushanbe Second Water Conference

DUSHANBE, 30.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) — On June 28, on the sidelines of the UN Ocean Conference in Lisbon, Tajik delegation headed by Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma met with Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management of Netherlands Mark Harbers.
The meeting focused on findings of the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” in Tajikistan and preparation for holding the UN Conference on the Mid-Term Review of Water Decade to be held in New York in 2023.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea Sulton Rahimzoda.
