Tajikistan Imports Medicines from 57 States in 2022

DUSHANBE, 08.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Medicines are imported into Tajikistan from 57 foreign states, in particular, 38% from India, 23% from Russia, 7.2% from Lithuania, 4.7% from China, 3.3% from Ukraine, 2.9% from Pakistan , 2.7% from Turkiye, 2.5% from Georgia, 1.9% from Germany and other countries. This was said yesterday at a press conference of the Antimonopoly Service.
One of the factors affecting the cost of medicines is the growth of their export prices in the supplying countries.
For example, in connection with the introduction of sanctions against Russia, the average customs value of the import of medicines in 2022 increased by $160 compared to 2021.
